ARCH 5330 - Environmental Control Systems I.

The first course in the environmental control systems sequence introducing the concepts and methods of environmental control in residential buildings. Discusses the thermal behavior of buildings, climate as a determinant of building design, energy use in buildings, natural and mechanical means of environmental control, plumbing, electrical, communication systems, water supply and sanitation systems.Semester Hours: 3Prerequisite: ARCH 5320.
