ISMG 6180 - Information Systems Management and Strategy.

The effective use of information technology requires the alignment of competitive strategies, business processes, and IT applications. In this course, we take a top management perspective to the development of policies and plans that maximize the contribution of IT to organizational goals. We begin by examining the systems that support the operational, administrative, and strategic needs of organizations. We then investigate the approaches used to manage the IT function, taking into account legacy and emerging technologies.
