IPTE 5026 - Content Literacy Assessment and Instruction Teaching Lab The secondary literacy teaching lab is designed to support novice and experienced teachers from all content areas in examining students’ reading and writing performance data and using the data to plan instruction that assist secondary students in meeting reading and writing standards through work in content area classes. Conducted by teacher experts who possess knowledge of literacy strategies useful in content area teaching, labs utilize the data from the students that the lab participants are teaching. Prereq: IPTE 5025 and 5910 or teaching experience. Concurrent enrollment in an internship or permission of instructor required. Cross-listed with IPTE 4026. Max hours: 1 Credit.
