IPTE 5121 - Negotiating the Classroom Culture with Adolescents A central purpose of classroom management is to establish and maintain a learning environment that fosters both effective and efficient instruction in the context of a positive social culture that models democratic ideals for students. This course focuses on the dimensions of classroom life as they are directly influenced by the social and cultural background of middle and high school students.
