BIOL 3520 - Invertebrate Zoology Most species on earth are invertebrate animals that, by definition, lack backbones. This course examines the biology, taxonomy, anatomy, ecology and evolution of these important creatures, which occupy a diversity of terrestrial, freshwater and marine habitats. Prereq: BIOL 2051, 2061, 2071 and 2081 with a grade of “C-” or higher. Max hours: 3 Credits. Semester Hours: 3 to 3
