CPCE 5180 - Counseling Couples

A didactic and experiential course dealing with techniques of couples counseling. Emphasis is on assessment, diagnosis and treatment of couples’ problems. Special topics include gay and lesbian couples, cross-cultural couples, remarried couples, cohabiting couples and the effectiveness of couple therapy. Prereq: CPCE 5010, 5100 and 5150.
