IPTE 5120 - Negotiating the Classroom Culture with Children


A central purpose of classroom management is to establish and maintain a learning environment that fosters both effective and efficient instruction in the context of a positive social culture that models democratic ideals for students. This course focuses on the dimensions of classroom life as they are directly influenced by the social and cultural background of elementary students. Prereq: Concurrent enrollment in an internship.
