CRJU 7930 - Battered Women and the Legal System This course provides a practical understanding of how the following relate to battered women and their children; a) major developments in federal, state, tribal, administrative, statutory and case law; b) the role and responses of the law enforcement, judges, attorneys, victim assistance providers and other legal system agents; and c) the role and process of victim advocacy.
