FNCE 3000 - Principles of Finance This course provides an introduction to financial markets and institutions, financial statement analysis, interest rates and the time value of money, principles of security valuation, concepts of risk and return, and capital budgeting. Note: This course is required in the Business Core. A grade of ‘C’ or better must be earned. Prereq: DSCI/BANA 2010 and ACCT 2200 (both with a grade of ‘C-’ or higher), ECON 2012, and ECON 2022. Restriction: Restricted to undergraduate students at a junior standing or higher. Max hours: 3 Credits. Semester Hours: 3 to 3
