PUAD 5930 - Interpersonal Violence Law and Public Policy

This course provides insight into public policy and law affected by or affecting interpersonal violence, (welfare reform, child maltreatment, criminal and civil court responses). Students will understand the role of law enforcement agents and the practice of victim advocacy, and describe and engage in methods to change law and policy.
