ARCH 3330 - Building Systems I Introduces the concepts and methods of environmental control in residential buildings. Discusses the thermal behavior of buildings, climate as a determinant of building design, energy use in buildings, natural and mechanical means of environmental control, plumbing, electrical, communication systems, water supply and sanitation systems. Prereq: MATH 1130 or MATH 1110 and 1120. Coreq: PHYS 2010 and 2030. Restriction: Restricted to undergraduate ARCH students within the College of Architecture and Planning. Max hours: 3 Credits. Semester Hours: 3 to 3
