IWKS 5500 - Molecular Biology for Computer Scientists & Engineers

Graduate version of IWKS 4500. Provides a serious introduction to the core elements of molecular biology using in-class lectures and hands-on labs that assumes a quantitative rather than biological background. Motivated student teams can also use this course to prepare and receive mentorship for the summer iGEM competition. Expected background: IWKS 3300 (students who have not taken this course should consult the instructor). Restriction: Restricted to students with graduate standing. Cross-listed with IWKS 4500.
