HIPR 6110 - Regionalisms & the Vernacular This class explores the history of the built environment from the perspective of evolutionary change; peoples attempting to meet utilitarian needs, respond to environmental forces, societal expectations, and aesthetic aspirations through design. The course looks closely at vernacular structures in a global context. Prereq: HIPR 6010 or permission of instructor. Cross-listed with ARCH 6350. Max hours: 3 Credits. Semester Hours: 3 to 3
