PHIL 4770 - Hegel A systematic study of the thought of G.W.F. Hegel through his most important and influential works: The Phenomenology of Spirit; The Encyclopedia of Philosophical Sciences; The Science of Logic; Lectures on the Philosophy of History; and his lectures on the history of philosophy, art and religion. Focus of the course varies. Strongly Recommended: PHIL 3002 or 3022, a minimum grade of “C” in each previous philosophy course.
