BIOL 4455 - Comparative Environmental Physiology


This advanced physiology course explores the physiological evolutionary adaptations of different animals in the context of their environment. Content includes exploration of maintenance of homeostasisvia feedback regulation, structure-function relationships, cellular physiology, and the study of organ systems including the nervous, endocrine, respiratory, reproductive and cardiovascular systems. Prereq: Human or animal physiology with a grade of “C-” or higher. Cross-listed with BIOL 5455. Max hours: 3 Credits. Semester Hours: 3 to 3
