BIOL 5024 - Introduction to Biotechnology


Introduces aspects of biotechnology within a historical context, including medical, forensic, agricultural and microbial biotechnology. Addresses principles behind state-of-the-field techniques in recombinant DNA technology, bioinformatics, proteomics and genomics. Biotechnology regulations and ethics will also be discussed. Restriction: Restricted to degree granting graduate programs on the downtown campus as well as the School of Medicine on the Anschutz Medical campus. Cross-listed with BIOL 4024.
