CHEM 4121 - Instrumental Analysis Surveys instrumental methods of analysis, emphasizing atomic and molecular spectroscopy, mass spectrometry, surface characterization, and chromatography techniques. Students are introduced to a wide array of powerful and elegant tools for obtaining qualitative and quantitative information about the composition and structure of matter. Prereq: CHEM 3111, CHEM 3421 or CHEM 3491, CHEM 4521 and PHYS 2331 with a C- or higher. Coreq for Chemistry majors: CHEM 4128. Max hours: 3 Credits. Semester Hours: 3 to 3
