MGMT 6780 - Small Business Management


The primary objective of this course is to teach future small business owners the practical aspects of small business management and to develop the skills necessary to improve the odds of success. The course will consider strategies to leverage limited resources for maximum effect in managing the small business enterprise. Also, this course covers small organization and group behavior, performance, leadership and motivation in small business settings and focuses on the owner/manager as the principal success factor in the context of a small organization.
