IWKS 4620 - Design for Extreme Affordability

Designing products and services that can be sustainably employed by the world’s poorest citizens. Students in interdisciplinary teams design, implement and evaluate solutions to real problems facing people and communities living in extreme poverty. How to create designs that respond appropriately to these unique circumstances. Expected background: IWKS 2100 & IWKS 3600 (students who have not taken this course should consult the instructor).
