CRJU 5240 - Gang Patterns and Policies


The course uses scientific method and thought processes to think critically about the formation of gangs, gang effects on crime, the criminal gang element and gang victimization. This course traces the origins and historical developments of gang activity in the United States. Topics include gang migration, gang related crime and violence, and the effects of gang involvement on communities and families. Cross-listed with CRJU 7240.  Max hours: 3 Credits.
