CRJU 5571 - The Social Organization of Crime


Explores the relationship between neighborhood social disorganization and crime from a social ecology perspective. The course examines the underlying social causes of phenomena such as criminal victimization, violent and property crime, neighborhood fear, neighborhood deterioration, and recidivism.
