SPED 5740 - Intersections of Literacy, Culture, & Exceptionality


This course provides a foundational understanding of the complex intersections between literacy, culture, language, learning, and students with (dis)abilities. A primary goal is to address the particular needs of culturally and linguistically diverse learners with exceptionalities, while also exploring the distinctions between language development and learning disabilities.
