ETST 3396 - History of the American Indian

Indigenous nations in North America comprise hundreds of diverse cultures. This course examines U.S. Indian policy and how indigenous nations responded; how they creatively adapted, and resisted cultural change; and how they continue to persist culturally, socially, and politically.
