MECH 4175 - Finite Element Analysis in Machine Design Students learn basic theory of finite element analysis (FEA) as it applies to stress analysis and design of mechanical components. Commercial package will be used giving students practical experience in the use of FEA. Prereq: MECH 3035 with a grade of C- or higher. Restricted to majors in CEDC Mechanical Engineering.
