PSCI 5025 - Local Governance and Globalization

Introduces international political economy, consequences of globalization for localities, interplay between wealth and power among nations, multinational corporations, NGOs and the UN, and impact of their actions on local governments. Topics include development, aid, trade, outsourcing, eco-sustainability and global equity. Prereq: Graduate standing or permission of the instructor. Cross-listed with PSCI 4025.
