ENGL 4600 - Modernism Modernist literature from the beginning of the 20th century through World War II, including such writers as Eliot, Joyce, Forester, Ford, Yeats, Woolf and Barnes. Examines the social-political influences as well as the aesthetic and stylistic elements which define modernist writing. Prereq: Sophomore standing. Cross-listed with ENGL 5600. Term offered: fall.
