GEOG 5081 - Cartography and Computer Mapping

Provides an introduction to the art and science of cartography (map making). Students will learn about design principles, tools and techniques of map production, culminating in the creation of a high-quality map through hands-on exercises. Prereq: Graduate standing and GEOG 4080 or GEOG 5080 or CVEN 5381 with a grade of C or better. Note: Completion of GEOG 2080 with a C or better is recommended for optimal student success.
