SPAN 3221 - Culture and Civilization of Spain I

From prehistoric times through Phoenician, Greek, Roman, and Visigothic eras to the Moorish invasion in 711; the Arab period; the Reconquest; the Catholic Kings; the Imperial Period; and the Inquisition. Note: This course assumes that students have passed SPAN 2120 or equivalent, or have taken four years of high school Spanish, or possess equivalent proficiency.
