ARCH 6355 - Urban Conservation: Context for Reuse


Human habitats (especially cities) are dynamic. The preservationist cannot freeze cities in a static representation of the past. The course deals with philosophical and political contexts, but emphasizes the role of strategic design intervention in the shaping of evolving cities. Cross-listed with HIPR 6410.
