CRJU 3280 - Trauma Among Correctional Populations

This course provides a comprehensive overview of trauma and the relationship of trauma to criminal offending. Topics includes the definition of trauma, the impact of trauma on development, lifelong consequences of chronic exposure to adverse events, and how to integrate knowledge about trauma into organizational policies in correctional settings.
