Introduces community development, a field closely allied with planning, in its devotion to working with people to strengthen their communitiesin accordance with locally-determined goals. Emphasisis placed on understanding groups, organizations, and communities, and on developing skills in such areas as community analysis, goal setting, group facilitation, and problem solving.Semester Hours: 3to 3
