BIOL 4764 - Biostatistics Covers the quantitative aspects of data collection, organization, and analysis in the biological sciences. Emphasizes understanding of relationships among probability theory, parameter estimation, test statistics, scope of inference, and interpretation. Provides “Hands-on” experience with data analysis. Prereq: One year of general biology with a “C-” or higher, college-level algebra with “B” (3.0) or higher, or permission of instructor. Cross-listed with BIOL 5764. Semester Hours: 3 to 3
