LCRT 5080 - Teachers as Readers and Writers

Teachers engage in experiences designed to expand and improve their own literacy interests, abilities, and attitudes. Literacy experiences include readers’ workshop, writers’ workshop, literature studies, and authors’ circles. In addition, teachers reflect on their own and classmates’ experiences as a basis for planning literacy experiences in school classrooms. Semester Hours: 3 to 3
