PSYC 8501 - Primary Care Psychology


The course will examine emerging trends in the role of professional psychology and psychologists serving as health care providers in primary care medical settings. Knowledge, Skills and Attitudes as they apply to competencies unique to primary care will be covered. Prereq: Admission to the Clinical Health Psychology Ph.D. program or with permission of instructor and graduate program director. Students must also have completed PSYC 7262, 8262, and 7730, or equivalent courses. Semester Hours: 3 to 3
