COMM 5025 - Philosophy of Communication

Surveys critical, epistemological, social, scientific, pedagogical, philosophical, and legal perspectives on communication, exploring the constitutive relationship between communication and knowledge formation. Students engage communication scholarship as a social activity and become acclimated to the function of a discipline in creating a professional identity.
