PSYC 3611 - Psychology of Women Reviews psychological theories and research of women’s social, cultural, emotional and behavioral experience. Examines the sociocultural context of women’s experience and explores women’s socialization, developmental issues, cognitive abilities and achievement motivation, personality variables, stereotypes, psychological disorders, victimization, intimacy and sexuality. Prereq: PSYC 1000, 1005 and 2090 or permission of instructor. Semester Hours: 3 to 3
