Performance Emphasis Requirements
Students who wish to pursue the performance emphasis are required to pass an entrance audition on their primary instrument or voice as part of the application process and pass varying levels of performance proficiency as part of the curricula. Each student must also successfully pass a Sophomore Proficiency on his or her primary instrument or voice in order to be accepted into the performance emphasis. Each student is also required to successfully complete a Junior Recital in addition to the 2-credit PMUS 4200 Senior Recital Project. Contact the CAM Office for more information at 303-556-2279.

Singer/Songwriter Emphasis Requirements
Students who wish to pursue the singer/songwriter emphasis are required to pass an audition on their accompanying instrument AND voice as part of the application process, and pass varying levels of performance proficiency as part of the curricula. Each student must also successfully pass a Sophomore Proficiency in order to be accepted into the singer/songwriter emphasis. Recording Arts Emphasis, Audition Track Requirements
Students who wish to pursue the recording arts emphasis, audition track, are required to pass an entrance audition on their primary instrument or voice as part of the application process, and pass varying levels of performance proficiency as part of the curricula. Students must be accepted into the recording arts emphasis before being able to take any of the upper-division (3000/4000 level) recording arts course work.
