General Requirements
To earn a degree, students must satisfy all requirements in each of the three areas below, in addition to their individual major requirements.

Program Requirements
- Students must complete a total of at least 36 upper-division semester hours (typically 12 courses).
- Students must complete at least 15 upper-division semester hours in MATH in residence at CU Denver.
- A grade C- or better is needed in each class counted toward the Math major.
- A student’s grade point average must be at least 2.25 in all Math courses applying to the major.
