Certificate Objectives
- Students will synthesize environmental science content with relevant educational practices
- Students will recognize, understand and apply environmental science education in either formal or informal educational settings
- Students will utilize education research methods to support disciplinary learning
- Students will identify a broader set of career options (see list below)

- K-12 Teacher or curricular specialist
- UNICEF/UNESCO/World Heritage Foundation
- National Parks Service or U.S. Forest Service
- Non-profit organizations (e.g. Colorado Alliance for Environmental Education)
- Regulatory Agencies (e.g. U.S. Environmental Protection Agency)
- Environmental and/or Educational Consultancy Firms
- Adjunct lecturer or instructor
