General Requirements
To earn a degree, students must satisfy all requirements in each of the areas below, in addition to their individual major requirements.

Program Requirements
- Students minoring in economics must complete a minimum of 15 semester hours in economics.
- At least three upper-division courses must be completed at CU Denver only the equivalent of ECON 2012 and ECON 2022 can be transferred in from other institutions and no grade below C- will count toward fulfillment of the minor requirements.
- At least two upper-division courses must not overlap with courses required in the student’s major program.
