Anthropology Minor

General Requirements

To earn a degree, students must satisfy all requirements in each of the areas below, in addition to their individual major requirements.

Program Requirements


  1. All courses taken at CU Denver must have a C (2.0) or higher and all transfer courses must have a C- (1.7) or higher.
  2. A minimum of 18 semester hours in anthropology must be completed.
  3. Nine of the 18 hours must be upper division.
  4. Nine hours must be taken from CU Denver faculty. Note: All upper division core courses must be taken from CU Denver faculty in order to count for specific requirements. Upper division courses from other schools will only count as electives:
