These degree requirements are subject to periodic revision by the academic department, and the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences reserves the right to make exceptions and substitutions as judged necessary in individual cases. General Requirements
To earn a degree, students must satisfy all requirements in each of the areas below, in addition to their individual major requirements.

Program Requirements
- Students must complete all biology core requirements (20-23 hours), of which a minimum of 9 hours must be completed in residence at CU Denver.
- All biology courses applied to the undergraduate biology minor must be completed within 10 years of graduation.
- A GPA of 2.0 must be attained in BIOL coursework.
- Biology and ancillary courses must be completed with a letter grade of C- (1.7) or higher.
