General Requirements
To earn a degree, students must satisfy all requirements in each of the areas below, in addition to their individual major requirements.

Program Requirements
- Students must complete a minimum of 18 ANTH credit hours.
- Students must complete a minimum of 9 upper division (3000-level and above) ANTH credit hours. Most upper division courses have lower division pre-requisites.
- Students must achieve a minimum GPA of 2.0 for all courses applied to major requirements.
- Students must complete all major courses taken at CU Denver with a minimum grade of C (2.0) and all transfer courses applying to major requirements with a minimum grade of C- (1.7). Students cannot complete major course requirements as pass/fail.
- Students must complete a minimum of 9 credit hours with CU Denver faculty.
Program Restrictions, Allowances and Recommendations
- All upper division core courses must be taken from CU Denver faculty in order to count for specific requirements. Upper division courses from other schools will only count as electives.
