These degree requirements are subject to periodic revision by the academic department, and the College reserves the right to make exceptions and substitutions as judged necessary in individual cases. Program Delivery
- This is an on-campus program.
Declaring This Minor
- Please see you advisor. Students declaring a minor in HEHM must have at least a 2.5 over GPA.
General Requirements
To earn a degree, students must satisfy all requirements in each of the areas below, in addition to their individual major requirements.

Program Requirements
- Students must complete a minimum of 15 credit hours.
- Students must complete a minimum of 6 upper-division (3000-level and above) credit hours in the minor.
- Students must achieve a minimum GPA of 2.0 for all courses applied to minor requirements.
- Students must complete all minor courses taken at CU Denver and all transfer courses applying to minor requirements with a minimum grade of C-(1.7). Students cannot complete minor or ancillary course requirements as pass/fail.
- Students must complete a minimum of 9 credit hours with CU Denver faculty.
Program Restrictions, Allowances and Recommendations
- Students may only count ONE relevant transfer course toward their elective requirements for the minor.
- Students may double count no more than two courses from their major or University General Education Core toward the minor elective requirements.
