COMM 5210 - Communication and Discourse Analysis

Examines the structural and functional factors affecting the formation, comprehension, and retention of speech. Topics include language norms, speech acts, implicature and meaning, and the analysis of conversations. Prereq: Undergraduates with senior standing may enroll with permission of instructor.
