This course will present the concepts and practical materials for surveying instruments, survey data collection methods and data processing with applications in GIS. It will cover the shape of the Earth theory, Map projections, Datum, 2D and 3D coordinate transformation methods and coordinate geometry problems. Prereq: MATH 1401 and 2411. Max hours: 3 Credits.
