CVEN 5537 - Numerical Methods in Civil Engineering


Introduces numerical analysis. Solution of linear and nonlinear equation systems. Numerical methods for ordinary and partial differential equations. Engineering applications. Differs from CVEN 4537 by the addition of individual student projects. Prereq: CSCI 1100/1410, MATH 3191 and 3200. Cross-listed with ELEC 5210, MECH 5110. Max hours: 3 Credits.
