CVEN 5631 - Transportation Planning Methods Introduces the urban transportation planning process as conducted by metropolitan planning organizations throughout the U.S. Course covers the four-step modeling process (trip generation, trip distribution, mode split and assignment). Topics also include data needs, survey methods, and statistical models for origin-destination estimation and travel demand forecasting. Prereq: Graduate standing or permission of instructor.
