CHEM 3411 - Organic Chemistry I

Lecture course for science majors. Topics covered include Structure and Bonding, Stereochemistry, Alkanes, reactions of alkenes, alkyl halides, alcohols and other functional groups, reaction mechanism and spectroscopy. Prereq: CHEM 2061 or 2091 with a C- or higher. No co-credit with CHEM 3481. Max hours: 4 Credits. Semester Hours: 4 to 4
