MGMT 4231 - Managing Sports Finance

This course explores the problems and solutions of financing in the sports industry. It focuses on stadium/venue financing, sports team valuation, event guarantee estimation, player salary issues, and managing disparate revenue streams. The course utilizes speakers, articles, problem sets, and cases. Prereq: DSCI/BANA 2010 and ACCT 2200 both with a grade of C- or higher, ECON 2012 and ECON 2022. Coreq: FNCE 3000.
